If you’re a fan of  Google Buzz and wish you could read the items that your contacts post to Buzz without having to log in to Gmail to see it, the Google Buzz Desktop app may be for you. Google Buzz Desktop is an Adobe AIR app built by a Spanish developer (this is noteworthy because the Web page where you download the app and some of the buttons are in Spanish)/ It looks like a desktop Twitter client, except you’ll see Buzz from the people you’re following after you log in.

Google Buzz Desktop installs and functions like any other Adobe AIR application; after the app is installed and you grant it permissions to run, log in, and the app loads the most recent Buzz from your contacts. The app is essentially a skin that emulates the iPhone interface for Google Buzz, so don’t expect any app-specific functionality or features.

Google Buzz Desktop is an Adobe AIR application, so to install this tool you need to install Adobe AIR in your machine.

You can still comment on individual posts from your contacts, like or dislike them, and post your own messages to Google Buzz through the app. Google Buzz Desktop even has location sensitivity built into it, so you can read what people around you are posting to Buzz instead of what your contacts are posting, if you prefer.

Login with your Gmail id after installation and you need to accept terms & conditions by Google, later you can start posting from Google Buzz Desktop application. It gets auto refresh for every two minutes, so that you cannot miss any buzz .
